When I noticed a for sale sign go up on a house in my neighborhood I immediately called Chelsea McFarland. Chelsea was recommended to me by my friend who had recently sold her home and purchased another. She said Chelsea was extremely reliable, energetic, experienced and honest. That's what I needed to hear. When I called she picked up the phone right away, even though it was only 8 in the morning. She made a quick call and said we could get in to see the house right away. I fell in love with it, this home was perfect! It had a workshop for my husband, a beautiful view of the lake and it was right within our price range. Chelsea helped us write an offer that would be attractive to the seller but was still within our financial means. We were the first people to see the house and we were the first people to put in an offer, but by the middle of the day there were 5 other offers. Unfortunately someone else outbid our offer's escalation and we were 2nd in line. Chelsea didn't give up, we wrote a letter to the seller and told them just how much we loved the house and asked them to keep us in mind if the other people changed their mind. As fate would have it, three weeks later the listing agent called her! We couldn't believe it, we landed our dream house but now we needed to sell our house FAST! Chelsea went to work immediately, she listed our house as "Coming Soon" that day so people would be aware that the house was coming on the market. Then she contacted the seller of our new house and got them to agree to let us move our extra things into their shop so we could start clearing and staging our home for showings. She hired a cleaning service, a stager and a professional photographer to come in and they made our house look like a model home. It looked truly picture perfect when they were done with it. We had multiple offers the first day it was on the market for more than our listing price. We couldn't have been happier! Of course that was just the beginning and she stayed with us every step of the way. She walked us through the entire process from the inspection to getting our loan approved.
