My little (not so little anymore) brother Nick flew in from the Bay Area for the weekend for the closing of our very first investment property. We just purchased our first “doors” (which is the hip way we can now refer to our rental property investments). It is a stunning, newly-constructed two-story duplex in Cheney, WA (3 bed, 2.5 bath on each side). Ours is already fully rented, but an identical one next door is still available if you know someone looking!
While he was in town I decided to make the most of it and try to show him a (covid-cautious) fun time!
What did we get? Fresh (warm) Pita, Hummus with Tahini, Whipped Feta with Honey and an Iced Chai.
What did we get? Baja Atun Ceviche, Oyster Shooters with Quail Egg, Guacamole & Chips, Piña Colada and a Spicy Margarita!
What did we get? This week they were doing a HARRY POTTER THEME for their crepes. The winner at our table was the Marauder’s Map dessert crepe (a chocolate/peanut butter magical creation).
What did we get? Delicious London Fog Ice Cream (insiders tip, you can have them split the ice cream into two and just pay for an extra cone… otherwise their standard two scoop serving is huge!). Did you know they stay open late? This was 8:15pm on Saturday!
What did we get? Eggs En Cocotte, and a Continental Kick breakfast sandwich on a croissant (substituting the meat for avocado on both). Did you know they have live music? Tim Taylor and Chris Bovey playing on the 23rd!
What did we get? Espresso, and an Oatmeal Cookie Latte
